The brief to completely reconfigure and modernize the large two bedroom apartment at Mount Royale, Mount Maunganui was driven by the clients desire to finally base themselves permanently in The Mount after many years of owning a holiday apartment there.
The apartment needed to be increased in size by incorporating existing conservatories and adding an additional conservatory style extension within the roof drip lines of the building while adhering to strict Body Corporate regulations.

The clients style is well reflected in the very simple clean lines and bright interior, with a strong emphasis on beach living. Every available space has been utilized for hidden storage and the full height doors, flush joinery and impeccable detailing ensures a timeless modern elegance. The apartment features white oak timber floors, soft white carpets and glorious porcelain large format tiles. The all white kitchen features fully integrated appliances with spray lacquer finish joinery, Blum hardware and adjoining butler’s pantry behind full height sliding doors.
