This new Head Office for Harcourts is an inspirational vision of the owners.

 

The corner building forms an iconic gateway to the CBD along Devonport Road. This profile was recognized early on in the design process by the client and architects resulting in a wrap around glazed skin with white lattice structure forming a second articulated layer and suspension support for the glazed entry canopy.

 

The rythym of the external envelope is accentuated by the offset raised seam cladding to both street facades along 3rd Avenue and Devonport Road.

 

The upper level accommodates all the office space for the clients, their administration staff and the sales consultants.

 

The ground floor provides a strong glazed connection to the street for the public, which leads onto the client foyer, purpose designed Auction Room and client interview rooms.
