Rydges Tauranga strengthens First Principles Architects commitment to contributing to the continued growth and evolution of Tauranga City.

Following the completion of Northern Quarter’s office building, the development is now taking shape with the addition of the new hotel tower. Brick wraps the podium perimeter, drawing on the site’s architectural character while referencing the materiality and language of the existing office building.

This approach grounds the new tower within its surroundings, while the contemporary glazed façade introduces a lighter, more modern architectural expression.

FPA looks forward to seeing this next chapter of Northern Quarter come to life and further contribute to the evolving Tauranga cityscape
